Can't fault the Mets on Nimmo. Bold, aggressive pick. He wouldn't have lasted till #44. Yes, he'll need time to develop coming out of Wyoming where they have no HS baseball. But, he has the potential to be an impact bat. The previous Front Office would've gone "safe" with a signable, low ceiling college player. The new F/O is showing it's going to be aggressive and not worry about price tag or risk. Bravo to DePo and his scouts.
Fulmer has a cannon, no complaints. Nimmo? They couldve waited until 44 and taken him. Im crushed with that one.
