The 51s defeated the Zephyrs, 8-1, in game three of the four games series (L.V. leads series 2-games-to-1)...with the victory, the 51s are now in a first place tie with Sacramento (68-57) in the Pacific Southern Division...Right-hander Matt Fox recorded his sixth victory with 7 shutout innings and allowed 4 hits, walked 2 and struck out 2 on 94 pitches (59 strikes)...right fielder Kirk Nieuwenhuis was 2-for-3, two walks, 2 RBI and hit an inside-the-park-home run to center field in the sixth inning (12th HR)...the 51s will conclude the eight-game homestand on Thursday on Budweiser Dollar Beer Night at 7:05 p.m. at Cashman Field.
