Dominick Smith: 2-3, RBI, SB.
L.J. Mazzilli: 2-2, HR, 2 BB, RBI, R. Looks like Mazzilli is finally getting acclimated to A ball, hitting .375 in his last 10 games, with a .512 OBP.
3 wins in 5 games, and a lot of performances to like. Mazzilli is on fire, as is Plawecki, Herrera, and Brown.
ReplyDeleteI still think Brownie can be another Scott Hairston, perhaps better.
Nimmo's slump seems to be ending. Dom Smith like Mazzilli is on a surge. Jayce Boyd seems to be rounding into top form.
Hitting-wise, the "Big 3 in Bingo," Vaughn, Lawley and Taijeron, remain an impotent, high strikeout trio. Very disappointing there.
Jeff McNeil is THE suprise so far for me
