Seven St. Lucie Mets Named To All-Star Game
First Savannah, now St. Lucie. Today seems to be 'name the all-star team' day. Seven members of the St. Lucie Mets were honored. They were LHP Steven Matz, RHPs Randy Fontanez and Matt Koch, 1B-IF T.J. Rivera, C Cam Maron, 2B Dilson Herrera, and CF Brandon Nimmo.
Jairo Perez: .350/.387/.552/.939 - is there a 150 AB cutoff? Paul Sewald: 1.17/1.13/11.35/4.30 - a 25 IP cutoff? or does he walk too many? his BB/9 is his only stat worse than Fontanez.
Jairo Perez has to be saying, what about me? Maybe because he is an older guy. .350, with a .552 slug does not get it done.
