Curtis Granderson lead off the game with a HR as the Mets scored two in the top of the 1st.  4 Mets errors (Daniel Murphy; Michael Cuddyer; Wilmer Flores; Eric Campbell) did not help Jon Neise who allowed 6 runs - 4 earned over 5 innings.  Mets tagged Nathan Eovaldi for 4 runs in 4.1 innings but the Yankees bullpen of Chasen Shreve (W,1-0) Justin Wilson, Delin Betances and Andrew Miller shut it down the rest of the way.  

Mets maintained their 4.5 lead over the Braves, as Atlanta lost to Philly, 5-4.
