Paul Articulates - One way to win

The 2025 season has been extremely frustrating for both the Mets and their fans.  Despite a very good roster, some strong prospects, and some deadline trades that looked promising, the team has not succeeded.  One could say they underperformed, but that is an understatement.  They have found so many ways to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory that we are just left shaking our heads and wondering how it got this bad.

So if it is difficult for you to turn on the television or use your favorite streaming app to take in a Mets game, I have found a way to make it more entertaining.  Gather your friends, turn on the game, and play bingo!

You have probably seen variants of the bingo game for travel to keep restless young minds from driving their parents crazy.  Well this game is designed to keep you from driving yourself crazy as hope melts into anxiety which melts into frustration.

Just print out your bingo card and highlight the squares as those frustrating game-changing plays occur and yell, "Bingo" when you get five in a row.  At least someone wins. (wink)

<author's note: this is not meant to disparage the team or the management, just a little fun to deal with this agonizing streak>

  1. Great chart!

I do not have problems turning the games on. When you don’t turn them on, it is easy.

  2. frankly, I didn't watch yesterday

Instead, I watched one of the most exciting football games I have ever seen... the Giants loss to the Cowboys

made a Mets loss look like a rookie

  3. Sadly, I watched the Jets for all of 5 minutes.

    1. Peterson should be in the mix. How many starters have the Mets used this year? A whole lot more than 5. Peterson in the pen could be worth considering.

    2. Frankly I don't trust Peterson with 12 games to go

      Move him to pen
