And He threw plenty. He started 401 games for the Mets and completed an amazing 171 of them, and 60 more with teams other than the Mets. Incredible.Tom Brennanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01032383157195393857noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-592615130369356022.post-36218222316451111732015-10-09T13:08:40.130-04:002015-10-09T13:08:40.130-04:00Alex -

The secret is in the secondary pitches.

A championship team now needs THREE all-star relief pitchers to go all the way. St' Louis has the template on this lately.

(sorry about the lack of predictions on your post today... all the writers are getting their two cents in writing and we're all stepping on each other's posts... also, comments and readership is down since the Mets clinched)Mack Adehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09730548449011685243noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-592615130369356022.post-84095903842751592882015-10-09T12:11:18.275-04:002015-10-09T12:11:18.275-04:00Interesting article Tom.

When a starter is pitching well he should finish the game, or close to it.

Having said that, thank god for Jeurys. You can't win without someone like him anymore. I agree 100% that Jeurys is the MVP followed by Granderson. Alexander Hanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13221338172620961826noreply@blogger.com
