Let's get this organization on a perennial annual playoff run like the Braves did, but with a few more world series rings than they managed, and aggressive signings now will lock that in. Too much talent for it to not happen.

Robles will be fine (and possibly better) as long as he avoids serving up 0-2 meatballs.

Tom Brennanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01032383157195393857noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-592615130369356022.post-17633303484544543452015-09-13T21:05:45.336-04:002015-09-13T21:05:45.336-04:00Thomas,

Cespedes was a very low cost gamble 4 years ago but Alderson and the cheapskate owners couldn't outbid the wealthy Oakland As. Not to pick on old wounds, as the team has currently been fantastic. Anyhow, hopefully the cheapskate owners will be in the mix this time around. Itwill be interesting to see how the market develops and the Mets actually operating from a position of strength and a place players want to play. Who'da thunk it?

Like Mack, I love the Reed acquisition. I am also high on Robles, who reminds me more of Familia (when he first came up) than Mejia. Not facially, racially, or personality-wise, but stuff-wise. A little more focus/refinement on location and pitching vs. just throwing and he can be a big back end piece.TPhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09371738018453201276noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-592615130369356022.post-14145083905455394002015-09-13T19:07:50.223-04:002015-09-13T19:07:50.223-04:00Unreal...lousy played game and they pull off anoth...Unreal...lousy played game and they pull off another miracle win.Dallashttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07966349028036306647noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-592615130369356022.post-68928867059215962562015-09-13T16:20:01.510-04:002015-09-13T16:20:01.510-04:00Have we ever seen a worst played defensive game? ...Have we ever seen a worst played defensive game?
