Now all they need to do is pick the best pitcher available at the 10th pick and then do the same with their next few picks as well.

Just keep producing high quality starting pitchers and every year they'll be able to do another Docket trade. Develop the arms, let other teams develop the bats, and you just pick the ones you want lAter on after they've gotten closer to the big leagues.

Next year when Harvey is back, the Mets will trade Nurse before the season starts. They get a few more top prospects. If they keep drafting the best arms possible, that system shouldn't change.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-592615130369356022.post-20268561386627620812013-12-16T18:34:33.483-05:002013-12-16T18:34:33.483-05:00Kevin, there are about 17-18 top tier players in t...Kevin, there are about 17-18 top tier players in this draft with half of them being RHPs

It will hard for the Mets to screw up this pickMack Adehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09730548449011685243noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-592615130369356022.post-72479947474505661612013-12-16T16:42:15.669-05:002013-12-16T16:42:15.669-05:00The hope needs to be that High School arms have so...The hope needs to be that High School arms have solid breakout years making it hard for teams above us to pass them up. I would also like Gatewood, but since he was gone and it wan't Beede I guess I'd be fine with Turner. That said I don't that much knowledge on the draft yet. I'd also love a LHP, but idk if anyone is a fit.Dannoreply@blogger.com
