JW should be honest with the fans and tell them that we are building for 2010 and beyond. <br /><br />Therefore, we will not be in the bidding for Halladay, Lackey or the likes. Instead, we have to take a chance on a retread like Ben Sheets. He will probably cost a lot less. And although his injury history is substantial, his upside is also excellent as a #2 starter. <br />With that in mind, JW needs to concentrate and focus on improving on the minor league talent and coaching. No trade or acquisition is going to put this team over the top now.
