Castro is proven to be better than anyone the Mets have in Queens plus anyone in the system is untested. He also has a cheap contract that would fall in place with the future of this team.

Trade Cecchini and Guillorme and let the Cubs use them for trade chips in the future.

Never will happen but just my opinion.Mack Adehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09730548449011685243noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-592615130369356022.post-85467440140253485182015-10-03T10:44:36.327-04:002015-10-03T10:44:36.327-04:00NO!!!! Not to mention you block all of the SS talent in the minor league pipeline (the strongest part of our system at the moment). I would rather get by with Tejada/Flores until Chech or Rosario are ready......likely in sometime in 2017.

Use the cash Castro would require to sign Cespedes or another OF bat with punch, if Yo leaves.

MikeAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-592615130369356022.post-86637594508789274722015-10-03T10:10:17.221-04:002015-10-03T10:10:17.221-04:00Ernest -

Conforto was ranked by most draft experts as the top bat coming out of that draft. He might just be a better hitter long term than Cespedes. We really needed a guy like that, which is why I wanted a hitter drafted in first round that year.
