B-Mets Game Notes

LAST GAME: Rain prevented Trenton and Binghamton from
playing a full game, but the B-Mets took advantage of the time
given in a rain-shortened six-inning 8-5 win over Trenton. Mike
Antonini picked up his second straight win with five innings
giving up four runs. Binghamton’s offense backed up Antonini
scoring seven runs in the fourth inning off of starter Eric
Hacker. 10 men came to the plate in the inning allowing the B
-Mets to strike for seven runs with only three hits. Two walks
and two Thunder errors contributed to the frame. Ruben Tejada
provided the big hit with a two-run double down the right
field line to make it a 6-3 B-Met lead. Hacker was hung with
the loss, giving up eight runs in four innings, five of which
were earned.
