Buffalo 4, Columbus 3

The Buffalo Bisons, Triple-A affiliate of the New York Mets, came from behind to beat the Columbus Clippers, 4-3, on Saturday.

With Darryl Strawberry in attendance for his bobblehead giveaway, the Bisons fell behind 1-0 in the first inning after Trevor Crowe scored from first on a Michael Aubrey double to right field. But the Herd thundered back with a run in each the first and second to make it a 2-1 advantage.

Corey Sullivan began by singling with one out. He would score on Fernando Martinez's 24th extra base hit of the year. F-Mart drove a double to right for Buffalo's first run.

The second run came when Jesus Feliciano walked in the second, stole second and advanced to third on a groundout. Feliciano scored on an Argenis Reyes single.

Crowe would strike again for the Clippers in the top of the fifth, sending a solo homer over the outfield wall to square up the game at two. But the lead didn't last for long when Mike Lamb singled in Javier Valentin in the bottom of the sixth. The run put Buffalo ahead 3-2.
