Sarasota beat Lucy Saturday, 3-2, on their home field.
SP Angel Calero (1-4, 3.57) might have had his worst outing of the year, giving up 3 ER in 7.0 IP. Calero also struck out eight while walking two.
The Mets only produced four hits, all singles.
Four of Lucy's starters now have dismal batting averages... Greg Veloz (.220), Frankie Pena (.204), Matt Bouchard (.216) and Brahiam Maldonado (.203).
The best BA in the starting lineup was .289 by IB Ike Davis.
