Pedro Feliciano:

Pedro Feliciano pitches in relief for the New York Mets. Feliciano pitches very well, and the Mets use him very well. Over his career, the Mets limited his exposure to right-handed hitters, helping him to great strikeout, walk and home run numbers. Since 2006, Feliciano is one of three pitchers to make at least 300 appearances, but he’s only faced 3.6 batters per appearance. So the Mets use him often, but don’t over stress his arm. So far, he’s produced an excellent 3.31 career ERA and a reliable arm out of the pen. -  link

Don Zimmer:

I was listening to Don Zimmer chat with WFAN’s Mike Francesa on Friday. Zim was appearing on Francesa’s show before a Connecticut Sports Foundation event. It’s hard to believe that Zimmer will be entering his 62nd year of professional baseball this season. It’s almost surreal to think about how long he has been around the game and the events that have happened. As a matter of fact, Zimmer changes his uniform number each year to reflect his time in baseball.

His career started at the age of 18 playing for a Class D Brooklyn Dodgers affiliate. Throughout his baseball life he has been involved in numerous history making moments, among them are the 55′ World Series, 78’. He even played on the Mets, albeit briefly, during their inaugural 1962 season. - link

Josh Thole:

C, Mets - The Mets like what they're seeing from Thole, 23, after his solid showing after a call-up last season. A decent contact hitter (.291 in five minor league seasons), Thole hasn't shown much power. But he threw out 29 of 60 would-be basestealers for Class AA Binghamton (N.Y.) in 2009. He will battle incumbent Omir Santos and veteran newcomers Henry Blanco and Chris Coste for playing time. - link

Brian McRae:

With Spring Training just days away, former New York Met centerfielder Brian McRae answers the question: For a player, which is a better Spring Training state, Florida or Arizona? I was lucky enough to seven big league spring training’s in Florida and three in Arizona during my career. I was in Baseball City (now gone) Port St. Lucie and Mesa. I grew up in Florida and really enjoyed having my friends... - link
