Blake Swihart:
8-27 from: - http://xmlbscout.angelfire.com/ - C Blake Swihart Cleveland HS, Rio Rancho NM, 6'0 1/2 175 S/R - reminds me of the days Todd Hundley was a young catcher in the ML for the Mets, very quick bat and quick release as a receiver with plus arm strength and know how, range is good, will stab on occ at pitches due to unfamiliarity of pitchers in showcase circuit, but all the qualities are there for a young man who could advance up the system in 3-4 years to the show and hit enough to contribute in driving in runs from the 6 hole position in a lineup and hit 10-15 HR in pro ball.
Rookie Davis:
8-12-10 from: - http://www.baseballamerica.com/today/high-school/events/under-armour-preseason-all-america-tournament/2010/2610524.html - RHP/1B - Dixon HS, Holly Ridge N.C. Davis is a big, strong two-way player. He is athletic on the mound with a low-90s, tailing fastball and a competitor who likes the ball in big games. His secondary pitches are a work in progress right now. Davis also flashes plus power at the plate from the right side and has committed to East Carolina.
8-16-10 from: - http://www.mlbbonusbaby.com/2010/8/16/1625615/2010-under-armour-all-american#storyjump - Rookie Davis, RHP/1B, Dixon HS (N.C.) - Committed to East Carolina, Davis packs some serious power, both at the plate and on the mound. He was very impressive in batting practice, launching balls into the top level seats in left field at Wrigley. Rookie is a monster physically, standing at 6’5’’ and 220 pounds, likely leaving him limited to first base as a position player. Davis has plenty of bat speed and while his timing could use some work, his hands work tremendously well, barreling pitches with good tilt even when he is fooled. On the mound, Davis worked 90-92 with good command of the fastball and also showcased a hard-biting 11-5 curveball at 74-76 that has above average potential.
Travis Harrison:
8-31-10 from: - http://www.prospectwire.com/pw/article.php?id=142 - Travis Harrison - OF, 6'2" 225, R/R, Tustin HS (CA) - If Harrison does not hit as a professional player, most scouts will be quite surprised. He has shown his ability with the bat since his freshman year and even when he isn't going all that well, which he wasn't in Long Beach, Harrison is still a productive hitter. He is an RBI man with plus raw power and though he might only be an average hitter at best, his hits are not soft. In many ways he reminds me of Carlos Quentin of the White Sox.
Robert Galligan:
9-3-10 from: - http://www.prospectwire.com/pw/article.php?id=144 - 63. Robert Galligan - LHP, 6'4" 205, St. Dominic HS (NY) - Big strong lefty that will draw attention with his 87-88 mph fastball but most impressively was his 76-77 mph downer curveball, also has a straight change-up
Scott McGlouth:
8-27 from: - http://xmlbscout.angelfire.com/ - RHP Scott McGlouth Oregon 6'1 185 - smooth righty with comps to Mike Leake of the Reds, Scott possesses a sharp cb 11/6 rotation and a fb up to 93, mostly 90-91 and keeps pitches away from fat part of hitters bats! Misses barrels in layman's terms! Good control and command with resilient arm. Has vastly improved in last 3 years, was said to have throw upper 80's in HS 2 yrs ago.
