Lance McCullers Jr. (2012) - http://talkingwithprospects.blogspot.com/2010/07/lance-mccullers-jr-q.html  - How would you describe yourself as a person and how would you describe yourself as a baseball player? – “Many people unfortunately do not know me as a person, they only see what is on the field. On the field I would say I am an extremely competitive guy and serious during a game. I don’t mess around and only focus on the task that is at hand. In the field I am focused and more low key, I make my plays and am ready for the next pitch. When I hit I am very serious, I don't take any AB off. When I am on the mound I am very competitive, I may even come off as a little aggressive at times but to get the job done is what I am up there to do, its all business. Outside of baseball I am calm, outgoing, playful guy. I love to hang out and play basketball, go in the pool, or see a movie. I am pretty low key and just an overall nice guy. What you see on the field compared to off the field is totally different.”

Corey Bays — 11-26-10 from: - http://blugrassbaseball.com/  - Henry Clay High School - •2010 Stats: .455 BA, 15 2Bs, 21 RBI, 37 R, 15 SB - •Jordan Terrence: “Corey is one of the best hitters I have ever coached and he will be a great addition to Murray State He has the ability to play multiple positions at the college level, but his bat is what will stand out. He is one of the best hitters in Lexington and I look for him to lead our team in nearly every offensive category this season.”

Geno Escalante (California) – 11-23-10 from: - http://baseballdraftreport.com/  - defense-first catcher, with a bat that needs plenty of polish to even be considered average; name makes it sound like he should be an East Coast prospect, but he’s a California kid who is committed to attend Cal State Fullerton if he doesn’t get paid; lesser version of Steve Baron in my mind

Daniel Paolini: 11-27-10 from: - http://www.collegebaseballdaily.com/2010/11/27/dan-paolini-siena-top-100-countdown  - Paolini continued his baseball career at Siena College where he had one of the best seasons in school history. He finished the season with a .430 batting average, 86 hits, and .484 on-base percentage while adding 11 homers, 53 RBI and a .685 slugging percentage. He picked up several awards including being named Louisville Slugger Freshman All-American, ECAC and MAAC Rookie of the Year, and named to ECAC First Team and All-MAAC Second Team.

All-American Baseball College Coaches and Pro Staff Camp – 11-27-10 from: - http://www.tossitaround.com/index.php?option=com_community&view=events&task=viewevent&eventid=9&Itemid=157  - Location:3950 E. Bell Road Phoenix, AZ 85032 - Time: FROM: Saturday, January 15, 2011, 9:00 am UNTIL: Sunday, January 16, 2011, 5:00 pm - (UTC -04:00) Atlantic Time (Canada), Caracas, La Paz - Our instructors are college coaches and pro coaches. We also have professionals that are currently and recently playing the game and can teach your child what they need to know in order to get exposed at the college and professional level. This is a great chance to learn and put yourself in front of some of the best baseball minds in the country!

Alex Meyer: - 11-11-10 from: - http://xmlbscout.angelfire.com - #27 - RHP Alex Meyer Kentucky 6'9 225 - Classic arm strength up to 98 mph, most are 92-93 but very straight with FB, has had so so college career after being talked about going in first rounder in HS. Needs to put it all together this season and sign the dotted line and work with pro instructors to iron out his hitches and glitches. CB has downward action from 12/6 and can over power hitters on occ, but lack of command has hurt him overall. Potential is there to be as good if not better than Jeff Niemann of the Rays.

Andrew Gagnon: - 11-11-10 from: - http://xmlbscout.angelfire.com - #28 - 10/24/10, moved down from #11, RHP Andrew Gagnon Long Beach State 6'2 1/2 195 - quality arm who was quietly heard of going into summer ball and has type of stuff to be solid ML starter, fb ranges 88-94, mostly 89-91 with live sink when down and hard slider 80-83 with proper bite, control and command will be assets to help him move quickly in a pro system. Best pitcher to come out of this program since Jared Weaver.

Brett Mooneyham: - 11-11-10 from: - http://xmlbscout.angelfire.com - #29 - LHP Brett Mooneyham Stanford 6'4 1/2 220 - quality lefty which is going to be the theme for the 2011 MLB Draft as there is lots of pitching depth in the college ranks and especially with lefties, more so than in years past. Varying release points and velocity range depicts some potential arm problems with his stiff elbow action out front, fb was up to 92 this fall, most were 86-88 in HS, so he's showing some improvement, maxed out at 94 during summer trials and performing for TEAM USA this summer. He's funky, but that is what you want from a lefty. Hides the ball well, just needs to negate so many pitches thrown in an inning.
