Cutnpaste: - Arbitration Results, Daniel Murphy, David Cone, Top 10 Teams, and Cesar Puello

Arbitration Results:

To most of the 27 ranked and still unsigned free agents, the salary arbitration offered by their 2010 teams wasn't really an option. All but two -- setup relievers Frank Francisco of Texas and Jason Frasor of Toronto -- declined the offers made a week ago by Tuesday's 11:59 p.m. ET deadline. Francisco and Frasor are now locked into remaining with the Rangers and the Blue Jays, respectively, for a one-year salary either negotiated or arbitrated. The others continue to be free to negotiate 2011 contracts with any club -- including their most recent - MLB

Daniel Murphy:

An MRI revealed that Daniel Murphy, who was hitting .320 in winter ball before his injury, suffered a mild left hamstring strain with no loss of motion or strength in the leg. Murphy, a candidate for the starting second-base job next season, will rehab his hamstring and resume baseball activities as tolerated.- http://www.mets.com/

David Cone:

Anderson also pitched in only 13 games from 1987-88, and was out of baseball after that. Top 10 Teams:

10. Mets - The New York Mets are a professional baseball team based in the borough of Queens in New York City. The Mets are a member of the East Division of Major League Baseball's National League. The Mets are also often referred to as the "Amazins" by fan and media alike. One of baseball's first expansion teams in 1962, the Mets won the 1969 World Series. They have played in a total of four World Series, including a second dramatic win in 1986. - bukisa.

Cesar Puello:

11-24-10 from: - Mets Geek  - 5. Cesar Puello. If this guy makes it, he will be a fan favotite. I hate using phrases like “this kid plays the game the right way” but that is the best way to describe him. A very smart player, Cesar gets the most out of his tools. I haven’t seen a throwing arm in the low minors that is as accurate as his arm. He is a very smart base runner, a good bunter and has a nice, projectable bat. He played some centerfield in instructs and it will be interesting to see him in center for St Lucie this spring. He made a rather impressive adjustment in his swing this summer for a kid his age, which has helped him make better contact and should help him reap benefits of his power game soon enough. Best case scenario is a good major league starting outfield able to do a little bit of everything to help his team win. Worst case scenario is being unable to make adjustments to hit advanced pitching.
