The good news is Dale Thayer looks like the next minor league relief pitcher that deserves a shot, followed closely by Justin Hampton. The bad news is there isn’t much below them.


Brandon Sage and Rhiner Cruz are having a hard time making the grade after their promotion earlier this season.


Ricky Brooks will most probably be the next promotion to Buffalo.


Roy Merritt’s .490-BABIP is incredible. Here’s a guy that really lives and dies with a strikeout.


Look for Jeff Kaplan to be sent to Binghamton soon.


For reasons undefined, Eric Beaulac just isn’t getting the innings. Boy, has he fallen.


Not sure if I should categorize Angel Cuan as a reliever. He’s really a starter that’s been used as the back end of a piggyback all season.
