Rather take lidge. Knows the league, has played and succeeded in big market town, and might like to stay in the NL. Who knows at this point what the market will be for these guys. Honestly, if 2012 becomes a rebuilding year, is spending 3 or 4 mill on a closer too steep a price? IMO, it's not unless Reyes signs and they try to squeak every last win out of the season they can. If he goes elsewhere which seems most probable, then whats it really matter? You'll just be spending the cash to fight for third place instead of fourth. We'll see
Get him
