The congressional "super committee" has thrown in the towel and says they can not come to an agreement where to make cuts on the budget.
Committee spokesmen said that "the job just is impossible...".
President Obama said "oh yeah, well you think THAT job is impossible...".
He then made a few phone calls and the entire committee was named to replace Jeff Wilpon, Fred Wilpon, and Saul Katz of the New York Mets.
All three Mets owners will now be given the task of determining the cuts in the national budget while the committee will try to figure out who is going to play second base.
So basically, itll remain status quo.
