Scouting Report: Prep third baseman is one of the top 2012 draft prospects from the state of New York. He is a good all around player who has shown strong improvement heading into his senior season. Ramon has an open stance at the plate. He shows good bat speed and great extension. He has good extra base pop, as well. Ramon plays good defense at both third and first. He shows good movement and soft hands at third. He has enough arm to stick at third. The only concern defensively is that his thick build may force a move off of the hot corner at some point.
