Scouting Report: Arkansas’ Matt Reynolds is a solid, versatile player. After a sophomore campaign that was somewhat of a struggle, he impressed at the Cape and carried that over into the fall and early spring. Reynolds is patient and selective at the plate. He has good bat speed and is an effective baserunner. Reynolds’ swing becomes a bit long at times, something he will have to work continue to work on. Reynolds is a standout defensively. He is starting at third for Arkansas as a junior, but can handle any spot on the infield. He has a strong arm and shows good movement at third.
