C, Arden Pabst, 6'0 205 R/R, Harvard-Westlake HS, Cal, got to see him a lot in the spring 2013 and this summer thus far in Cary, he's interesting, handled some good quality HS pitchers when he's in the lineup, has short compact swing, makes contact, still waiting on seeing the power and consistency as a hitter in a game, have seen some pop in his bat during BP, shows near ave quickness and arm strength as a catcher, worth a look.  http://xmlbscout.angelfire.com/

Todd Gold‏ - 2013 OF Marcus Doi (Honolulu, HI) hardest hit ball of week by following monster foul ball w 109 mph LD

Jim Callis‏ -  Felipe Perez was top undrafted player (No. 129) on BA 500. Calif HS RHP, 88-91, projectable, feel for 3 pitches

Kendall Rogers‏ -  UCLA still has an excellent pitching class with Hunter Virant, Cody Poteet and James Kapriellan to school… Keep a close eye on SHSU LHP Caleb Smith in 2013. Was up to 95-96 with his FB for SB Foresters at the NBC World Series… USC commit Dominic Smith put on a show at today's PG All American scrimmage. Great BP, plus 90s with his FB… Dominic Smith should be an easy first-rounder next June….

        Q – What's Colby Suggs draft potential?

A -  Stocky build, FB in the 90-95 range. Very good stock.

IL: Jack Granath, a RHP from Rockton Hononegah HS, commits to Southern Illinois University.

Josh Orenstein - Stanford recruit Brett Hanewich had top extension 7-2, LSU commit Tyler Allen: top curve rpm. Razorbacks recruit Jon Denney top power hit… Nick Longhi had 6 of the 68 hits 100+ mph this year.
