If I were to get my way, Montero, Fulmer, Flores, and 1-2 other prospects will be in the Miami organization next year with Giancarlo Stanton manning RF in Queens.

ReplyDeleteFulmer and Flores is a good start though.
I don't think Sandy would pay that price and I think the Marlins would want prospects that are at least in the top 100 in MLB.
ReplyDeleteThose guys are valuable to us, but industry wide are not recognized as the cream of the crop. Good luck selling that package to their fans, they'd probably burn down Marlins Park.
This time next year, Fulmer and Montero will be in the top 50, just not yet.
Well, that's why I said next year at this time lol. I'm assuming Stanton is moved at the WM in the offseason and I hope the Mets show up loaded for bear.
