Mack, I enjoyed your prediction of the pitching rotation for all four full season teams. Do you intend to fill out the roster of those four teams before the season starts? I believe it would provide some good debate. Marty

Mack: 

Hey Marty, no problem, but I’m never right about these things. We just don’t get enough information from the games being played by the minor league teams in the spring. But, what the hell, here’s my guess:

First thing first… I look for all four teams to be going to, at least, a 6-man rotation. There simply is too much talent in the organization right now.

Minor league teams always carry more than the amount allowed and keep shuffling players back and forth on the 7-day DL.

Las Vegas –

(I expect Scott Atchison, Scott Rice, and Greg Burke to make Queens)

I expect the rotation to be the best arms… Wheeler, Mejia, Mazzoni,  Gorski, McHugh, and Schwinden.

I expect the pen to include Familia, Ryan Fraser, Armando Rodriguez, Elvin Ramirez, Aaron Laffey, Brad Holt, and Chuck James.

I expect Mark Cohoon, Carlos Torres, Craig Hansen, and Dylan Owen to be released.
