51s  vs. Sky Sox (Value Menu Monday): The Las Vegas 51s  professional baseball team will face the Colorado Springs Sky Sox, Triple-A affiliate of the Colorado Rockies, tonight in the finale of the four-game series in Pacific Coast League action at Cashman  Field (9,334)…Las Vegas is 1-2 on the eight-game homestand (1-2 vs. Sky Sox)…Las Vegas will open a four-game series against division-rival, the Sacramento River Cats, Triple-A affiliate of the Oakland A’s, tomorrow night…the four-game series and the homestand will conclude on Friday, April 19…Las Vegas will then open a brief four-game road trip at Colorado Springs on Saturday.


Las Vegas defeats Colorado Springs 5-4 in 11 innings: The 51s  defeated the Sky Sox 5-4 in 11 innings on Sunday afternoon in game three of the four-game series before a crowd of 3,142 at Cashman Field.
Las Vegas offense: The 51s  recorded 10 hits and third baseman Reese Havens (1-for-2) delivered a walk-off, RBI single with the bases loaded, with two outs in the 11th inning. Center fielder Juan Lagares was 2-for-5, walk, solo home run, two runs scored; second baseman Wilmer
Flores was 2-for-5, double and left fielder Jamie Hoffmann was 1-for-4, walk and a three-run home run in the second inning.

Colorado Springs offense: The Sky Sox recorded 10 hits and center fielder Tyler Colvin was 2-for-5 with two solo home runs (2nd and 8th innings). Left fielder Corey Dickerson, third baseman Nolan Arenado and first baseman Ben Paulsen were each 2-for-5.

Las Vegas pitching: Right-hander Zack Wheeler pitched 5.1 innings in the no decision. He allowed 6 hits, 3 runs, issued no walks and struck out 8 on 97 pitches (61 strikes).

 Bullpen: Left-hander Justin Hampson pitched 0.2/0; right-hander Greg Peavey pitched 1.2 innings and allowed 1 run. Left-hander Robert Carson (0.1/0 R) and RHP Jeurys Familia (2 IP/0 R) and Armando Rodriguez(1.0/0) R) pitched the final 3.1 innings
