Sean Henn: (2.0 IP, H, 0 BB, 3 K, and Justin Hampson: (2.0 IP, 0 H, 0BB, 2 K) have held the Rainiers scoreless the reat of the way, so far.

Binghamton (39-25) over Trenton (33-31) 6-5.

Jack Leathersich was called upon to get 1 out in the 8^th and did NOT get it via the strikeout.  That’s news.

Jeff Walters (S, 16) did not pitch as well as he has recently, (2 ER on a walk and a HR) but still got credit for his 16^th save.

Danny Muno: 2-5, HR, 3 RBI, R.

Cesar Puello: continues on a tear, going 2-4, raising his AVG. to .330.

Josh Rodriguez: 3-5, now hitting .321.

Allan Dykstra: 2-3, 2 BB, RBI. Dykstra is hitting .311.

Wilfredo Tovar: 2-4, 2 RBI, R.

St Lucie (33-29) tops Clearwater (33-30) 4-2 in 10 innings.

Starter Alex Panteliodis: (W, 3-3) 6.2 IP, 2 ER on 9 H, (2 HR) 2 BB, 2 K.

He was followed by Estarlin Morel, who was perfect through 1.2 innings.

Chase Bradford, (W, 3-2) 1.0 IP, 0 R, H, BB, 2 K, got the win, and Hamilton Bennett, (S, 4) 1.0 IP, 0 R, 2 H, K, earned the save.

Ashville (34-28) edges Savannah (37-26) 4-3 with a late run.

In a game that was postponed from yesterday, scoreless through 10 ½ innings, the Gnats finally broke through in the bottom of the 11^th on a bases loaded, walk-off walk to Brandon Nimmo, scoring Jeff Reynolds. Good eye, Brandon!

Logan Taylor, (6.0 IP, 0 R, 4 H, 3 BB, 6 K) Paul Sewald, (3.0 IP, 0 R, 1 H, 0 BB, 4 K) and Bret Mitchell, (W, 2-2) (6.0 IP, 0 R, 4 H, 3 BB, 6 K) combined on this 11 inning shutout.
