Mets Minor League Report – June 14

Colorado Springs  (36-29) over Las Vegas (34-32) 6-2.
Matt Fox: 6 IP, 2 ER, 8 H, (HR) 2 BB, 4 K.
Sean Henn was tagged for 3 R, 1 ER, 2 H, 2 BB, K, in only 0.1 innings. He was followed by Justin Hampson, who pitched 1.2 scoreless innings: 1 H, 2 K.
Jack Leathersich, in his 2nd AAA appearance, struck out the side in the 9th, but he allowed 1 ER on 2 H.
Ike Davis: 1-4, R.
Zach Lutz 2-3, 3B, 2B.

Bowie (31-32) tops Binghamton (40-26) 6-3
Cory Mazzoni (L, 2-2) on an extra days rest:  5 ER, 8 H, (HR) BB, 6 K.
Scott Atchison pitched a scoreless inning (H, K) in his 2nd rehab outing.
Pedro Feliciano was perfect in 1 inning, with 2 K.
Allen Dykstra: 1-3, HR, BB, 3 RBI, R.

St Lucie (34-30) not scheduled.

Savannah (41-26) edges Greenville (22-45) 2-1 with a run in the 12th.
Steven Matz had his best outing of the year: 5.1 IP, 0 R, 2 H, 2 BB, 10 K. Wow!
Julian Hilario followed Matz with 1.2 scoreless innings, allowing a hit and a walk, with 3 strileouts.
 Hilario was followed by Paul Sewald (BS, 1) who gave up 1 ER on 2 H, BB and 3 K in 3.0 IP, to blow the save.
Bret Mitchell (W, 3-2) pitched the final 2 scoreless innings, with 1 H, while striking out 3, to get the W.
Jayce Boyd: 2-3, 2 BB.
Maikis De La Cruz: 2-5, 2 2B, R.
Jeff Reynolds: 2-5, R.  Reynolds scored the winning run on a bases loaded walk-off sac fly by Brandon Nimmo in the bottom of the 12th.

DSL Yankees (6-5) beat DSL Mets1 (5-6) 7-5.
Starter Jose Mendez: 4.0 IP, 4 R, 3 ER on 6 H, (HR) 0 BB, 2 K.
Claudio Merilan: (L, 1-1) 3.0 IP, 3 R, 2 ER on 4 H, (HR) 2 BB, 2 K.
 Jorge Cespedes and Rolgenis Blanco each pitched a hitless inning of relief. Blanco gave up a walk.
Miguel Leal: 3-5, 2 RBI, R, SB.
Edwin Diaz: 3-4, 2B, BB, RBI.
Jose Martinez: 2-4, 2B, BB, RBI.

DSL Rangers (11-1) crush DSL Mets2 (6-6) 16-3.
For the second day in a row, the Rangers bombed 4 DSL Mets2 pitchers: Starter Randi Montero, (L, 1-2) Wimbert Martinez, Yrelvis Castillo, and Richard Reina. Only Randinson Suazo, who was called upon to get 1 out, and did so, escaped unscathed.
Alfredo Reyes: 1-5, RBI.
Carlos Sanchez: 3-4, 2 RBI.
Santo Marte: 1-3, 2 R.
