St Lucie (41-33) smacks Palm Beach (32-43) 7-4.

Domingo Tapia: 5.0 IP, 3 R, 6 H, 3 BB, with 6 K.

Chase Bradford (W, 5-2) (1.1 IP, 0 R, H, BB, 2 K) gets the win, and Tim Byrdak (S, 1) pitches a perfect 9^th inning to close out the game.

Matt den Dekker: 1-4, 2B, R, SB.

Dustin Lawley: 2-4, HR, 2 RBI, 2 R.

Jayce Boyd: 1-4, 2 R.

Kevin Plawecki: 3-4, 2 2B, 3 RBI, 2 R.

Boyd and Plawecki have picked up in St. Lucie right where they left off in Savannah. Boyd is hitting .433 since his promotion, and Plawecki is at .387.

Savannah (45-30) raps Augusta (41-34) 5-1.

Gaby Ynoa: (W, 9-2) pitches another gem: 6.0 IP, R, 5 H, 0 BB, with 4 K.

Hunter Carnivale (1.0 IP) and Paul Sewald (2.0 IP) combined for 3 perfect innings to finish off the GreenJackets.

Aberdeen (3-6) blanks Brooklyn (4-5) 3-0.

John Gant (L, 1-1) was good, but not good enough. He went 6.0 innings: 3 R, 6 H, 0 BB, 10 K. Infinity is a pretty good K/BB ratio, especially when you hit double digits in K’s.

Brooklyn mounted no offense tonight. Anthony Chavez, (1-3) got their lone hit.

Greenville (2-5) bests Kingsport (2-5) 5-3.

Alberto Baldonado (BS, 2) allowed the Astros to draw even with 2 runs in the 8^th, his 2^nd inning of relief, and Tyler Bashlor (L, 0-1) gave up 2 runs without getting an out in the 9^th inning, to take the loss.
