Chris Schwinden (L, 3-8) had a decent outing: 7.0 IP, 2 R, 7 H, (HR) BB, 6 K, but got no support

Brian Bixler, (2B) Wilmer Flores, (2B) and Kai Gronauer had the 51’s only 3 hits.

Trenton (40-37) @ Binghamton (47-28) postponed (rain).

Palm Beach (33-43) belts St Lucie (41-34) 10-6.

Angel Cuan (L, 6-2) gets whacked for 9 R, 6 ER, 6 H, (HR) 4 BB, with 3 K, in 5.1 IP.

Bret Mitchell (2.0 IP, 3 K) and Randy Fontanez (1.0 IP. 2 K) are perfect to close out the game, but to no avail.

T.J. Rivera: 3-5, R.

Dustin Lawley: 3-5, 2B.

Jayce Boyd: 2-5, HR, 2B, 3 RBI, 2 R.

Savannah (46-30) trounces Rome (38=39) 10-3.

After Logan Taylor (1.2 IP, H, BB, 2 K) and Julian Hilario (3.1 IP, 2 H, 0 BB, K)  combine for 5 scoreless innings to start the game, Tyler Vanderheiden (BS, 1) (1.2 IP, 3 R, 2 H, 3 BB, K) ironically gets the win after blowing the save with the Sand Gnats worst pitching performance of the day.

Hunter Carnivale (1.0 IP, H, BB, K) and Beck Wheeler (1.0 IP, H, 0 BB, K) finished strong.

Nelfi Zapata: 3-5, 2 RBI, 3 R.

Chad Zurcher: 2-4, 2B, BB.

Brandon Nimmo: 1-3, 2 BB, 2 R.
