2012: Made 26 appearances during his freshman campaign, including one start ... Registered a 2.40 ERA and a 2-0 record and one save ... Struck out 25 batters in 45 innings of work ... Prior to Belmont: Played at Siegel High School under Head Coach Craig Reavis … Led Siegel to two straight Class AAA District 7 Championships in 2010 and 2011 … Recorded an ERA of 2.44 with a 6-2 record in nine starts as a senior … Finished with five complete games and 71 strike outs in 55.1 innings pitched … Earned all-region and all-area honors, and was named District Pitcher of the Year.

Austin Coley of Siegel High School in Murfreesboro, Tenn. has signed a National Letter of intent to play baseball at Belmont University, as announced by Head Coach Dave Jarvis on Thursday.
"Austin is a great fit for Belmont University both on and off the field," Jarvis said.  "He will be a great fit for our program as he is an excellent kid as well as an excellent student.  He has a very projectable frame, and with added strength and maturity, will certainly be a factor on our pitching staff."
Coley (6'3", 170 lb.) is a right-handed pitcher, and the number one starter for Siegel High of District 7-AAA, one of the top districts in the state of Tennessee.  He is 3-1 on the mound this season with a 1.81 ERA, 33 strikeouts and only four walks in 27.0 innings pitched.  Coley plays for Head Coach Craig Reavis at Siegel, which with a record of 18-5, was recently ranked as the fourth best team in all of AAA Tennessee baseball.   http://belmontbruins.com/sports/m-basebl/2010-11/releases/20110421ggetyn
