PG - Cameron Griffin is a 2009 MIF/OF with a 6'2'', 175 lb. frame from Jonesboro, GA who attends Dutchtown. Cameron returns for his senior season...the three year starter will once again be at third base for the Cougars.

2011: started 24 games at third base and the outfield...had 89 at bats and .202 batting average...knocked in 11 runs with 2 doubles and a home run.
2010: Had a solid freshman campaign batting .301 with 6 home runs and 31 RBI... started 52 games at third base for the Cougars and collected 62 hits in 206 at bats...Was named the Peach Belt Conference Freshman of the Week in March after he batted .421 in 5 games with 3 home runs and 6 RBI.
High School: Graduate of Dutchtown High School in Hampton, GA...4 year letterman under coach Stephen Phillips...Named All-State in his senior year...Led his team to the state playoffs two years in a row...Was named to the Georgia Dugout Club Top 100.
Personal: Son of Ray and Cindy Griffin...Likes to play golf in his spare time...His parents are his heroes because they have always been there for him...Favorite pro athlete is Hanley Ramirez...Would like to try snowboarding one day...Most memorable sports moment is signing a college baseball scholarship.
