This will be my first of four Top 100 High School Prospects Lists of the draft year. Obviously, a lot will change from now until the 2014 MLB Draft in June. I will have an updated top 100 in August after East Coast Pro, Area Codes, PG All-American and the Under Armour All-American Game take place. 1. Michael Gettys- OF/RHP, Gainesville (GA) HS
Put on a show at the National Showcase. 6.43 60, 100 MPH from the OF, touched
94 on the mound. Can really hit!
2. Touki Toussaint- RHP, Coral Springs Christian Academy (FL) Best pitcher in the country, has touched 97 with a plus CB
3. Alex Jackson- C, Rancho Bernardo (CA) HS
Huge raw power. Might have the best bat in the country. 1.75 pop time at National with a 91 MPH arm from behind the plate
4. Braxton Davidson- OF, T.C. Roberson (NC) HS
Absolutely mashed at TOS. Three home runs, and hit everything hard. Best bat at the event
5. Jacob Gatewood SS, Clovis (CA) HS
Huge power potential. Has all the tools. Has the potential to end the year as the #1 HS player in the country.
