D.J. Mitchell pitches 2.0 perfect innings with 2 K.

Newly signed, Darryl Thompson, (W, 1-0) gets the win, after a single by Lucas Duda, a botched pickoff attempt, and a single by Eric Campbell scored Duda in the bottom of the 11th.

Matt den Dekker: 2-5, R.
Zach Lutz: 3-5, 2 R.
Kirk Nieuwenhuis: 2-4, HR, 3B, BB, RBI, 2 R.

Binghamton (81-49) stops Bowie (65-64) 5-3.

Logan Verritt: (W, 11-6) 5.0 IP, 2 R, 7 H, 2 BB, 8 K.
Jeff Walters (S, 36) just keeps piling up the saves: 1.0 IP, 0 R, 0 H, BB, 2 K. I wonder what the minor league record is for saves in a season.

Travis Taijeron: 2-4, HR (13), 2B, 2 RBI (37), R.
Allan Dykstra: 2-4, HR (20), 2 RBI (79), R.

Every Mets starter in the lineup had at least one hit, six of them with a multiple hit game.
Kevin Plawecki: 2-4, R.
Jayce Boyd: 2-5, RBI, R.
Kyle Johnson: 2-5, 2B. With 2 hits, Johnson raises his avg. above .300.

Palm Beach captures the nightcap 7-0.
A bad outing for Domingo Tapia: (L, 2-9) 3.2 IP, 6 R, 5 H, 5 BB, 6 K.

Kyle Johnson: 1-2, BB. The hit raises Johnson’s avg. another 2 points to .303.

Kingsport – not scheduled.

GCL Marlins (22-31) crush GCL Mets (17-36) 10-3.

Frank Francisco (L, 0-2) pitches 1.0 inning, gives up a HR, and takes the loss.

Dominick Smith: 3-4, 2B, RBI, R. The Mets 1st round draft pick this year has found his stroke after a slow start. In his last 10 games, 39 AB, his slash line is .385/.415/.538/.953.

DSL Cubs (46-21) come back from a 3-1 deficit, defeat DSL Mets1 (19-49) 9-4.

Jorge Cespedes, (BS, 2) (L, 2-2) the fourth of six Mets pitchers, went 0.2innings: 2 R, 2 H, BB.

Luis Montero: 2-4, 3B, R.
It is tough to win when 6 of the 9 starters in your line-up (and both of the pinch hitters you put up) are hitting below the Mendoza Line.

DSL Mets2 (43-25) slam DSL Pirates1 (38-30) 10-6.

The third Mets pitcher, Marcos Gonzalez: (W, 5-2) 2.1 IP, 0 R, 2 H, BB, 2 K.
