Las Vegas (63-54) crushes Oklahoma City (68-51) 12-3.

Jacob deGrom (W, 4-2) pitches 6.1 innings: 3 R, 0 ER, 6 H, (HR) BB, 6 K.
The 51’s bull pen hold the RedHawks scoreless the rest of the way.

Brandon Hicks: 3-3, 2 HR, 2B, 2 BB, 4 RBI, 2 R.
Matt den Dekker: 3-5, 3B, 2B, 3 RBI, 3 R.

 

Binghamton (73-44) blanks Altoona (54-62) 1-0.

Darin Gorski (W, 4-1) tosses a gem. 7.2 IP, 0 R, 4 H, 2 BB, 3 K.
Jeff Walters (S, 33) allows only 1 H in the 9th inning to record his league leading 33rd save.

Rhyne Hughes: 2-3, 2B, RBI. Hughes had 2 of the B-Mets’ 3 hits, supplying about all the offense they would need this night.

 

Bradenton (43-68) beats St Lucie (60-49) 5-3.

Starter Matt Bowman pitched 5.0 innings: 3 R, 6 H, 3 BB, 5 K.
Cody Satterwhite (L, 1-1) allowed the go-ahead run in the first of his 2.0 innings: R, 3 H, 0 BB, 6 K.

Kevin Plawecki: 2-4, 2 RBI, R. Plawecki, in St. Lucie, (hitting .321) is doing just what he did in Savannah . . . hitting.

 

Savannah (67-45) humbles Hickory (62-52) 6-3.

Starter Julian Hilario pitched 5.0 strong innings: R, 3 H, 2 BB, 4 K.
Paul Sewald pitched a perfect 8th inning.
Beck Wheeler, (S, 15) despite walking 3 without giving up a hit, pitched a scoreless 9th inning to get his 15th save.

Brandon Nimmo: 3-5, RBI, R.
Eudy Pina: 2-4, 2 RBI.
Cole Frenzel: 1-3, 2 BB, RBI, R.

 

Connecticut (22-28) bashes Brooklyn (24-25) 7-3.

Ricky Knapp (L, 0-2) only made it through 1.2 innings: 5 R, 7 H, 0 BB, 2 K.
Christian Chivilli pitched a perfect 9th inning with 1 K, to no avail.

Patrick Biondi: 2-3, 2B, BB, 2 R.
Gavin Cecchini: 3-4.
L.J. Mazilli: 1-4, 2 RBI.

 

Kingsport (27-19) pops Pulaski (30-17) 7-4 .

DSL Rojos (14-43) rip DSL Mets1 (19-38) 7-4.
Starter Nicolas Debora was fine for 6.0 innings: R, 0 ER, 4 H, 0 BB, 4 K.
But disaster struck when Yrelvis Castillo was brought in. After yielding an unearned run in the 7th inning (done in by 3 errors and 2 SBs in the inning) Castillo gave up another 5 runs (all earned) without getting an out in the 8th inning.

Gregory Valencia: 2-4, RBI, R, 2 SB.

When the dust settled, the Mets had committed 6 errors in this sloppy game.
