Savannah wallops Hagerstown  6-0, leads series 2 games to 1.

 

A great start for Gaby Ynoa: (W, 1-0) 7.0 scoreless innings: 4 H, BB, 5 K.

Jeurys Familia pitched a perfect 8th inning.

Estarlin Morel allows only 1 H in the 9th.

 

Cole Frenzel: 2-3, BB, 3 R.

Stefan Sabol: 1-2, 3B, BB, 2 RBI, R.

Jeff Reynolds: 3-3, BB, 3 RBI.

    You're welcome. But why Hollywood Herb?

    When I was a little kid I had a friend named Melvin who was a N Y Giant fan, and I used to call him Ott. In reply, he would call me Higbe for Kirby Higbe, a Dodger pitcher. There were no Dodger players with the first name of Herb, and he thought Kirby was close enough to Herbie. Go figure.
