I heard qualifying offer for free agents this offseason is going to be $14.1M, up from $13.3M last year. Impacts Cano, Grandy, etc

    It makes no impact on the Mets whatsoever as they're not playing in that financial ballpark on anyone available. Once again, Jose Abreu costs only money, no sacrifice of draft picks. But we'll get us some Delmon Young...

    There is going to be some solid players available because teams aren't going to throw them a qualifying offer because they will jump on it.
