FLASH - RP - Javier Lopez

According to Bay Area Sports Guy, the Giants have re-signed reliever Javier Lopez to a three-year, $13 million contract.
 
This confirms a report from CBS Sports' Jon Heyman. Lopez earned $4.25 million in 2013 while posting a 1.83 ERA and 37/12 K/BB ratio over 39 1/3 innings. He was was able to parlay that success into a deal that will go through his age-38 season.

    Joe Smith may look for a deal similar to Lopez's....Perhaps a $3.5M per year contract.
