Another very good low risk signing. Along with Joel Carreno, Socolovich could make the pen out of ST. I have a feeling Alderson is setting things up to fill the pen internally.

ReplyDeleteI expect 1/2 Rule 5 signings as well with a removal of Atchison and Valdespin
They didn't make any Rule 5 picks last year, so I am not so sure they will make any this year. I hope someone is compiling a list of each teams most desirable unprotected players for our consideration. If we could get such a list for each team, suggested Rule 6 picks could be an interesting War Room question next Sunday or the following Sunday.
ReplyDeleteI am still eating my heart out over how we blundered the Darren O'Day pick in 2009 after selecting him in the 2008 Rule 5 draft. I loved that pick and knew immediately that we fucked up when we waived him.
