continue the countdown today with number 68, Oregon State RHP/outfielder Dylan Davis. In His sophomore campaign
with the Beavers, Davis continued to prove that his freshman season was no
fluke. An All-Pac-12 First Team selection, the Beaver outfielder played in 63
games during the 2013 season, starting in 62 of them. The 6’0” sophomore led
the team with a .335 average and his 22 doubles, 61 RBI and 86 hits were good
enough for first in the Pac-12. The talented two-way player was also named the
Most Outstanding Player of the NCAA Corvallis Regional. The Redmond, WA native
attended Redmond High School where he was named All-League and All-State after
his senior season. Davis not only showed promise at the plate but also proved
to be a threat on the mound. Davis went 7-3 for Redmond while posting a 3.92
ERA and striking out 61 batters in 50 IP. At the plate, Davis batted .420 with

11-19-13 - Adding

Series regularly, and it’s a great program with a great coach,” Garrett said. Garrett
is a comprehensive complete competitor with a stout, solid frame, tremendous
arm strength and speed. Garrett sets himself apart from other players at the
plate with a small, straight swing track to the ball and exceptional bat speed
that permits him to consistently hit the ball solid. He has a flair for clutch

11-14-13 - Michael Schwartze - Arms Dominate Class One of
the biggest strengths of this year’s class is the quality and depth of frontline
starting pitching. After the summer, it appears as if as many as 10 high school
pitchers could go in the first round. The top prep lefty in the class may be Brady Aiken (Cathedral Catholic/San
Diego, Calif.) who had a dominant summer while showing great stuff, including a
low-90s fastball, improving curveball and an advanced changeup. He has a
smooth, low effort delivery and a projectable, 6-foot-4, 205-pound frame. He
commanded both secondary offerings well and both project as swing-and-miss
