Draft 14 – Kevin Cron, Nick Gordon, Brandon Finnegan, Jack Flaherty,Ryan Lillard
11-13-13 - Kendall Rogers @KendallRogersPG - After a good summer at the @Official_CCBL, #TCU 1B Kevin Cron is back in business. Schloss said better pitch recognition/patience
11-6-13 – Todd Gold – WWBA World Championship – Nick Gordon (2014 SS, Cardinals Scout Team/FTB Chandler) - In a class that has plenty of position prospects to dream on long term, Gordon is the safest bet to play everyday at an up-the-middle position in the Major Leagues. While his ceiling is tied to his ability to add strength (while maintaining his athleticism) to drive the ball, his floor is very high given his high level defensive ability at shortstop. Safe bets to play shortstop at the Major League level tend to come off the board early in the draft, and Gordon continued to show himself to be just that in Jupiter. Being paired with another highly talented middle infielder in the class, Milton Ramos, made the Cardinals Scout Team a fun team to watch. http://www.perfectgame.org/Articles/View.aspx?article=9157
11-4-13 – MLB Draft Insider - Top 14 for ’14: College Pitchers - 6. Brandon Finnegan / LHP / TCU — Finnegan gets rave reviews for his feel for pitching — and has touched 98 with his fastball to go along with an above-average slider and average change — although his size and arm action could give teams concerns. http://mlbdraftinsider.com/2013/11/top-14-for-14-college-pitchers/
10-15-13 – Baseball America - 45. Jack Flaherty, 3b/ss /rhp, Harvard-Westlake HS, Burbank, Calif.: With a big frame at 6-foot-3, 217 pounds, Flaherty has above-average speed and arm with a feel for the barrel and improving power. http://www.baseballamerica.com/college/2014-draft-top-50-october-2013-carlos-rodon/
