Draft 14 – Michael Gettys, Michael Conforto, Jacob Nix, Blake Bivens, Max Pentecost

12-19-13 - Jim Callis ‏@jimcallisMLB  -  Strong arm, but CF. All-around tools too enticing. Needs to hit. @SNESmaster: Michael Gettys future: Pitcher or hitter

11-27-13 – Big League Futures Top 25 Poll –  20 Michael Conforto    OF Oregon State http://bigleaguefutures.net/1/2013/11/26/mlb-draft-top-25-prospects-poll/

12-10-13 – TTF – Top 50 HS Players - 43. Jacob Nix, RHP, Los Alamitos HS (CA) - Like a lot of players on this list, Nix is a big, hard throwing righty with a lot of upside to his size and easy delivery. At 6′-4″ and 205 pounds, he can dial his fastball up to 94 mph and shows the makings of a plus curveball. Committed to UCLA. http://throughthefencebaseball.com/2014-mlb-draft-top-50/40532#zz88YJZTOG8iEa1Z.99

11-21-13 – BA Top 100 High School Players - 44 Blake Bivens RHP R/R 6-2* 205 George Washington, Sutherlin, Va. Liberty http://www.baseballamerica.com/college/2014-high-school-top-100-with-commitments/

B/R – 11-21-13 - 14. San Francisco Giants: Max Pentecost, C, Kennesaw State - Max Pentecost’s draft stock took off this summer when he was named MVP of the Cape Cod League after hitting .346/.424/.538 with six home runs. A 6’1”, 190-pound right-handed hitter with lightning-quick wrists, Pentecost has a compact but powerful swing that yields consistent hard contact, and he’s likely to feature at least average power at maturity. Defensively, his athleticism is apparent behind the plate, while his specific skill sets are more of a work in progress. Pentecost also stands out for his average speed, so it’s conceivable that he could handle a position change if need be.  http://bleacherreport.com/articles/1860341-2014-mlb-mock-draft-early-first-round-projections-for-all-30-teams/page/10
