of diamond and see better days ahead of him with the bat. Not a re-do, but
needs to iron out the swing (must minimize leg kick and get front foot down
earlier as game speeds up). Avg./fringy plus runner w/plus instincts on base
paths; SB threat. Polished defender w/active lower half. Sure, soft hands

9-21-13 -The player who stood out for the Nighthawks was shortstop Josh
Morgan. Morgan didn’t have a strong summer, but PG’s Todd Gold reported that
Morgan had been playing very well recently. That was certainly the case Friday
night, as Morgan looked lighter and much faster, both with the bat and with his
straight line running speed. He had a few long battles at the plate with
Vetrovec that could have gone either way.

also gained more speed in doing so. At the plate, he makes consistent, hard
