Embargoed names listed as TBA |
it will be interesting to see what position Reynolds plays
ReplyDeleteProbably will be dependent on who the Braves, Pirates, and Giants assign.
ReplyDeleteSo far between Mets and Yanks he's the only SS
Think Mets want to see if his crazy BA continues in a tougher prospect league.
ReplyDeleteI know Thomas is happy to see Reynolds get some attention from the FO!
ReplyDeleteAttention Thomas -
ReplyDeleteHere's where you find out which players the Mets think have a future in this game, on this team... however, it also is a place Mets trying to get their pitchers to work on an additional pitch.
Still, Hilario's name alone here warrants him guppy status.
Whalen is a bit of an aggressive assignment, but I like if. If he shines in the AFL at his age, his stock would take a nice jump.
ReplyDeleteMy guess is Whalen is assigned to get some of the innings back he lost this season due to injuries
ReplyDeleteI agree with Mack.
ReplyDeleteWhalen is currently at 58.1 IP. Club would have liked him to be at around 100 IP this season.
Whatever the reason for Whalen, I am excited to see how he holds up against higher competition. If he holds up strong, it will sexy up his resume, even if the main reason is to get more innings.
ReplyDeleteVery cool on Whalen. Other than his time out with the infected hand, he's been outstanding.
ReplyDeleteI would speculate Reynolds won't be a Sept call up if he is going to AFL?
Is the TBA someone from Tommy B's A list of guppies?!! Where's my coffee?
Great to see Nimmo pushed, Sewald rewarded, and let's see Mazzoni dominate.
Hilario is someone I'll confess I have not focused on, but his choice certainly is interesting. I'll have to check him out.
@Tom
ReplyDeleteWell there's two things we can speculate about the TBA
A) The Scottsdale Scorpions have "him" listed as an infielder.
B) Teams are only allowed to send 2 player below AA level and the Mets have already committed Hilario and Whalen.
So the TBD person could very well be 1 of the following:
Wilfredo Tovar
TJ Rivera
Dustin Lawley
Dilson Herrera
Brian Burgamy
Jayce Boyd
Brandon Allen
Allan Dykstra
Daniel Muno
Josh Satin
My money is on Herrera. Organization will want to see if he's truly the long term answer at 2B to replace Murphy
I hope it's TJ.
