    Cesar Puello is back in the infirmary getting bench splinters removed from the derriere.

  2. TJ's MinL stats are pretty close (OK, less SLG) to the Seattle guys' (Miller/Taylor) that I hear folks talking about dealing Montero (&/or Mejia) for.

    Anybody think he'll get scooped up in Rule 5? I have this (irrational) premonition the NYY will.

    I don't think so.

    Rivera is the kind of player that never seems to get proper recognition.

    There are obviously some fine lines between players that succeed at the major league level or others (example: Alan Dykstra) who never get a chance.

    My guess is Rivera is a AAAA player for some team down the road
