Surprised Duda missed 1B Top 10. At least Murph and d'Arnaud made top 10. I'm sure some of our pitchers make the 11-20 range. Also have tobe close in relief, and of course, Wilmer just might be a top 10 SS this time next year.
ReplyDeleteIan Desmond 's ranking is very interesting after the many negative comments that were made about him in January during the possible trade scenario time period.
ReplyDeleteOne season hampered by injuries, and David Wright doesn't qualify? There is no justice. By next year we could have a few more Mets on this list. In addition to David, look for Harvey (no brainer) and Lagares.
ReplyDeleteHerb, maybe deGrom too once he proves 2014 was no fluke. other than Kershaw, one could make the case he was the NLs best starter in the 2nd half.
ReplyDeleteCorrect me if I'm wrong but this is pretty much just purely for fantasy baseball purposes. Rotographs usually is. That explains Murphy as our highest positionally-ranked player. Regardless, the omission of Wright is criminal under any circumstances. Duda should be on there, too. Harvey, Wright will have to prove their worth this year, I guess.
ReplyDeleteIt amazes me that the NL Gold Glove winner for CF is not on EVERYBODY'S Top 10 list.
ReplyDeleteStephen from Norfolk: in fairness to Lagares not being on the OF list, it is one top 10 list of outfielders. At SS, it is a top 10 out of 30. For OF, it is a top 10 out of 90 starting players. Lagares would definitely be top 10 in all CFs.
