LAST GAME: The B-Mets were dropped 10-2 against the Harrisburg Senators Sunday afternoon at NYSEG Stadium. Josh Rodriguez recorded three hits for the second straight game. But the B-Mets were held to seven hits and went 4-for-18 when batting with men on base. The Binghamton bullpen imploded late in the game, allowing 7 runs in the final two frames. Starter John Gant allowed two earned runs in 5.2 innings pitched to earn a no-decision. The Senators earned a series split after losing the first two games.
BINGHAMTON STARTERRHP Seth Lugo makes his second start of the season, both coming against the SeaWolves. The righty tossed six shutout innings at Jerry Uht Park in his first go around, allowing just three baserunners (all via hits), while striking out six. The B-Mets lost the game 2-1, giving Lugo a no-decision. The SeaWolves went 0-for-3 when batting with runners on base against Lugo. This will be his NYSEG Stadium debut.

ERIE STARTER: RHP Jeff Ferrell makes his second start against of the season, both against the B-Mets. The righty squared off against Lugo in the 2-1 SeaWolves win in Erie on April 14. Ferrell earned a no-decision in the game, allowing a run and six hits in six innings of work. He walked a batter and struck out six B-Mets. The 24-year-old spent 2014 with Erie, going 10-9 with a 5.54 ERA in 25 starts. He allowed 10 earned runs in 15.1 innings pitched at NYSEG Stadium last season.

ONE OF EACH: The B-Mets are 1-1-1 in their first three series of the season with the only loss coming against the SeaWolves.

NOT GOING THE DISTANCE: John Gant became the first B-Met starting pitcher to throw a pitch in the sixth inning in six games. None of the last six B-Met starters have been able to get through the sixth inning.

VS. ERIE: The B-Mets went 13-9 against the SeaWolves in 2014, including 4-3 in series openers. Binghamton was 6-6 vs. Erie at NYSEG Stadium, winning each of the first four games. The SeaWolves are 2-1 against the B-Mets this season, with the lone Binghamton win coming in the series opener. Binghamton has won the season series each year since 2009.

BACK-TO-BACK: Josh Rodriguez has recorded three hits in back-to-back games for the first time since May 8-10, 2014, when he totaled seven hits in two games with New Orleans (AAA). Rodriguez has registered multiple hits in each of his three starts.

ERRORS: After going four games without committing an error, the B-Mets have since committed one in six straight games. Binghamton has eight total errors in the six games, committing multiple in each of the last two games against Harrisburg.

NOT RELIEVING: The Binghamton bullpen has pitched to a  7.56 ERA in 33.1 innings pitched. They have issued 22  walks in that span (6 BB/9 IP). The pen has allowed runs in each of the last three games and possess three of the B-Mets five losses.

WALK THIS WAY: The B-Mets have issued 20 walks in their last three games. The total is the most over a three game span since walking 26 batters over three games from July 20-22, 2012 against Bowie.

OUT WEST: The B-Mets continue their swing against the Western division to begin the season. Binghamton is in a stretch of 14 straight games against the West , before visiting New Hampshire Thursday.
