LAST GAME: The B-Mets pushed their winning streak to a season-high seven, beating Portland, 7-1, Thursday night at Hadlock Field. Michael Fulmer picked up his second win, allowing a run in 6.1 innings. Four B-Mets had multiple hits, including three from both Michael Conforto and Josh Rodriguez. Rodriguez added on to his league lead with his 12th homer of the year, driving in three runs.

BINGHAMTON STARTERRHP Robert Gsellman is making his fourth start with the B-Mets, coming off his first career win at the Double-A level. He allowed a run in six innings in his last start, beating New Britain. It’s his first career start against New Hampshire. Gsellman has allowed one run in his last nine innings pitched. He has struck out 14 batters in his first 16 innings with Binghamton, including atleast one strikeout in 12 different innings.

NEW HAMPSHIRE STARTER: LHP John Anderson is making his 13th start of the season and his third against Binghamton. He’s coming off a no-decision against Altoona, allowing four runs in five innings pitched. The southpaw is in search of his first win since April 24, against the B-Mets. He has allowed three runs in 10 innings pitched against Binghamton this year. 

SEVEN UP: Binghamton has won a season-high seven-games in a row, their longest winning streak since August 18-24, 2011, when they also won seven straight. The B-Mets have outscored their opponents 37-11 during the streak, winning four of the games by five or more wins. A win Friday would give Binghamton their first eight-game winning streak since June 30-July 6, 2006. 

THREE IN A ROW: The B-Mets have won three consecutive series, after going winless in their previous eight (0-6-2). It’s the first time Binghamton has won three straight series since August 15-24, 2014. The B-Mets are coming off back-to-back sweeps, something that had not been done since August 19-24, 2011.

GETTING ON THE GOOD FOOT: Binghamton has scored first in seven of their last eight wins. Overall, the B-Mets are 23-8 when scoring before their opponents this season. The B-Mets have scored 37 runs during their seven-game winning streak, with only three coming after the sixth inning.

R.I.(S)P.: Opponents are hitting .100 (5-50) with RISP during the B-Mets current seven-game winning streak. They have gone hitless in their last 18 at-bats in such situations.

STOLEN BASES: The B-Mets have been successful in their last six stolen base attempts, spanning their past 16 games.

HITTING STREAKS: Eudy Pina and Brandon Nimmo have each hit in their last eight games with the B-Mets. It’s the third hitting streak of seven or more games this season for Pina. Nimmo had two hits Thursday after missing 28 games with Binghamton.  

VS. NEW HAMPSHIRE: The B-Mets are 5-6 against New Hampshire, including 1-3 on the road. The B-Mets have committed 14 errors in the 11 games.

FIRST IMPRESSION: Michael Conforto has reached base in all 17 games played with the B-Mets, recording a base hit in 15 of them. It’s the fifth longest active streak in the EL. Conforto is also on a season-high eight-game hitting streak.

STARTING ROTATION: The B-Mets starting rotation has pitched to a 1.46 ERA during Binghamton’s seven-game winning streak. The starters have five wins during the winning streak, after compiling five total wins in their previous 30 starts.
