  3. Not to be gloom and doom here but the Nats who's season everyone says is over has just won again along with YC's cool down and Strasburg goes tomorrow and we get Miller on Monday against Verrett as Degrom rests so the Dark Knight really needs to get it in gear NOW! Colon and Matz are the only 2 starters who have pitched well in week's and I know we really don't want this to come down to the final series with everything on the line against Washington. I still have game 162 in 07' and 08' in my nightmares. I'm creeping closer to the edge so someone please talk me down here.

  6. Gary, I think we can all identify with your fears! But let me set your mind at rest - it ain't gonna happen again. The lead is bigger, the team is better. They've been flat for a few games but they will come roaring back. And the thing is, they don't need to win much to get in. It would take a truly extreme turn-around for things to go wrong, and this team is not going to go 0-16, or even 2-14, or even 4-12.

    Even if they lose tonight!!
